Moving Around looking for each other
Changing relationships so often
Like trying on a new shirt or blouse
Keeping up the search for something
Not knowing what we were seeking
Starting over in different states
With new people each time
New work, new life, still looking
Getting closer in the same state
Just missing each other in one area
The universe devised the perfect plan
Circumstances smoothly engineered
Preparing us for the homecoming
In each others arms.

Oh, yes! When you are with the right person, it's like the Red Sea parting. I have a similar story, which still fills me with wonder.
ReplyDeleteWhen you meet the right person, you just know it. I just happened to find mine a long time ago and didn't have to look or move too far.
ReplyDeleteI always say that there is someone out there for everyone. I think myself very lucky to have found mine so young.
ReplyDeleteThis is the point I have attempted to make with my latest post too.
ReplyDeleteHow have you been? I have been away since quite some time now. Busy time! You will know why. ;)
I love the way you look at life!
ReplyDeleteI gave up on mine and just stick with
The Universe!
smiles...aint it cool how everything comes together to make what is supposed to happen happen...the near misses always make me smile...
ReplyDeleteOH YES!
ReplyDeleteI love how our paths - totally different - suddenly intersect and there you are, together. Loved this, TechnoBabe!
ReplyDeleteThe road to the other is seldom pondered but when one does, it a powerful case for believing in miracles. Your choice of words is also powerful, always bringing me back to what is important and real.
ReplyDeleteI loved this! And I can completely relate.
ReplyDeleteWow. You've certainly taken this Valentine's to heart (groan). But seriously, nice meditations and reflections on love this week.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you've found it. A belated happy Valentine's to you two crazy kids.
Sounds lovely.. and hopeful.
ReplyDeleteLike shooting stars missing each other - ships in the night ?
ReplyDeleteI was in the bread aisle, she with the sauces, together we grabbed the garlic salt and had wonderful pasta together.
Technobabe - you inspire me.
Your words are so beautiful. The searching, the looking, the moving...then finally finding each others' arms. I love it and can relate to the story. It is a special connection and a very strong one.
ReplyDeleteHaving the right person to share with is everything.

I really liked that, lovely. x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful words Techno, how fortunate you are to have that someone special in your life. Your writings tell me how much you treasure the love you share.
ReplyDeleteThank you for inquiring about things at my place. You are always so kind to show an interest in my writings. The month of February is difficult for me. I don't know why, perhaps it is the "winter blues". I am still battling sporadic depression and trying to cope with the effects of living with an addicted son. Off balance.. that's how I feel. There will be better days, that I know. Spring is arriving and the beautiful sunny days will do my spirit good. Sending a warm hug your way!
How sweet it is!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you finally found each other :) This is beautiful, and your page is GORGEOUS!
ReplyDeleteLife is grand when things line up and work out :-)
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful Techno. xo jj
You shame me. I passed this one up as too difficult. I am full of admiration.
ReplyDeleteHello Dear,

Sabi Sunshine
That gives me hope.
ReplyDeleteI love this! When it's right, it's right.
ReplyDeleteSearching I think is the best part of the process;)
ReplyDeleteAmazing how it worked out. It is a God thing I think.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful story written so well. I love the way you share bits and pieces of yourself.
