  8. TB! You are moving to this cute house??? OH YAY! I was planning to email you about that dog dish which I made for you, but you have seen it already :) It is big for a yellow lab, and looks a million times better in person than in the photo!

  9. I love it. And I really adore new adventures. Wishing you both all the best!!! :-)

(The moving part, not so much fun, lots of work, but always a great opportunity to clean out closets and minimize.)

  10. A very cute little house. We did the same thing moving from the 4th largest city in the US to a house outside a small town (less than 10,000 people) in the country though it has taken us 2 years to make the transition and we still come in town often to work. soon the new shop will be finished and we will be able to do all out work out there.

  13. Oh congratulations! I'm so happy for you. Your place looks lovely and I'm looking forward to hearing more about it. I don't envy the packing process but the unpacking and making it yours will be wonderful.

In answer to your question about whether or not I'll photograph that vine in other seasons. It's a great idea. I hadn't thought about it but if that vine is still there through the late autumn and winter, I'll be sure to do so.

  30. The new house really looks lovely and very inviting too. Thinking back on the numerous times in my life I have moved though, I really admire that you are this organized with the move thing and this early in the timetable too! Hope it all goes smooth as glass for you.

  31. I envy you! Always love new adventures! We've been in our house for 15 years and we are beginning to day dream about moving somewhere new. Unfortunately, our business is keeping us where we are right now. Before our house, I probably moved at least every 5 years.

Looking forward to hearing all about your new surroundings!

  37. Well, congratulations and best wishes to you and James in your new pad. Personally, I loathe moving, but adventure is good. So is stripping down to bare essentials, which you can do anytime, not just when you're moving, I suppose.

This is the first year in the last 10 I did not have a summer yard sale. Get that stuff out of here.

Makes the house seem bigger. The cash doesn't hurt either ;-)
