The Sticky Note Club

I joined a new club. The only requirements are sticky notes, pen, open heart. Here are my supplies on my desk. Pat, at A View From The Edge, is the Prez of the club. Read her post here. Then come back and read this post. See ya.

Did you get a lump in your throat about the crumbled sticky note? Did you get fired up reading about Pat's determination to change the world one sticky note at a time? Well, then, you just joined the club. Post your pics of your sticky notes and link to Pat in your post. Look out world, love is gonna getcha!!

I have a software programme on my computer called "stickies" and I use it all the time. My computer is covered in post-it notes!

I have a load of stickies on my desk, with cryptic scrawlings on them that mean nothing to anyone...

Ms.A, we do too. Now I will be leaving one for a stranger to find and hopefully make the stranger smile.

Joey, I have stickies on my computer too and have bunches of them. Have to hide them to get them out of the way sometimes. (Apple H)

Rock Chef, I can see you leaving a stickie note for a stranger while you are out and about.

I like this idea Techno, as a matter of fact there is a sticky note on my screen to remind you that your package goes into the mail tomorrow. sorry for the delay, with me being sick with cold and flu I just had no energy..I think you will have fun opening and that is what gives me great pleasure. note to self find sticky notes. have a great weekend.

I don't know. I have a lot of sticky notes at my desk here at work but, with my string of luck lately, leaving them around would get me into trouble. Leaving a sticky that said "You're wonderful" in the men's restroom here would be a recipe for trouble.

I use so many sticky notes that they're starting to become ineffective for me. Bad girl I am!

Hey - thanks for the shout out! I appreciate it AND the fact that you are joining me in the Sticky Note campaign!

Just got finished reading the sticky note post. What a great idea, and better than graffiti because it doesn't permanently mar the place in which the message is written. And it is all well and fine to be critical of the world. Lord knows enough is wrong. But a positive approach like this will work wonders!

PS: Not on vacation, just a bit of free time and a few long drives to the coast. Sometimes I need that...

Have a wonderful weekend...

I like this idea.. I've seen a "you are beautiful" sign on a street light semi-recently and it made me smile.

Gary, that is a great idea for a library hound like me. Thanks for the idea.

Brian, "Make My Day" with a sticky note.

Cinner, I don't have sticky notes around my computer screen any longer, I use the stickies provided by my computer. Hope you are feeling so much better now.

Big Dave, your note could say "Have a great day".

lisleman, you are so welcome.

terri, you have a whole bowling alley to leave surprise sticky notes.

blueviolet, you have a great way of organizing though.

Pat, I so like this idea and appreciate your idea. I have some stickies ready with nice things for people to read.

stickup artist, leave it to you to think of graffiti; your artist eye sees so much. I too think of this as a positive way to greet others and maybe just maybe get them to smile.

Nezzy, It is a grand idea, isn't it? You have a great weekend too.

Hilary, that is wonderful. See how it made you feel to read that; you can do that all over the place and make people smile.
