Nuts Online

Ah nuts!! I admit it. I'm a nut. I'm also a nut lover. Not the kind of nuts I meet online, my fellow bloggers. Although I do love my fellow bloggers to bits!!

There are at least two kinds of nuts here in our house (not hubby and me) at any given time. Pecans, almonds, peanuts are the favorites. We put them in salads, toss them into homemade fried rice dishes as well as other casseroles. We even chop peanuts in the coffee bean grinder and roll boneless chicken breasts in the ground peanuts for the best chicken fingers!

Did you know there is a difference between assorted nuts and mixed nuts??? Yep, who knew!!

After several attempts to keep enough nuts in house, I ordered nuts and dried fruit online from nutsonline.com. Just thought I would pass that along to the other nuts out there, oh I mean nut lovers.

We buy nuts in bulk at Sams. Well, and I live in the land of peanuts and pecans.

I love that header photo! I've never thought to use ground peanuts to coat chicken - I'll definitely try that out - cheers! (Grin)

.... I am not a nut person. Though I enjoyed some peanuts once in a while, I try to avoid nuts in any kind of food I encounter.

Let the nuts lover like you people enjoy the nuttiness of nuts everywhere. :)

I'm a nut and a nut lover, too. So I enjoyed this post (and laughed out loud at the picture). Now I have to go look up the difference between mixed and assorted nuts. It's much better than what I'm supposed to be doing right now...lol! This is another fun post, Technobabe.

I love nuts too, edible and friendable. My favorites are macadamian and cashew . . . and red-headed. ;)

That is one big pair of nuts... but jeepers, who would put them on their car ??? (hope it's not your car !) But what I really wanted to say is : THANKS for all your visits, your comments are always a real pleasure to read...

That's a pretty scary piece you posted there about 75% of young people being unqualified for military service... a sad comment on our current educational environment. The standards for getting into the military are not that high, so if 75% can't even meet that minimum, what kind of life are they likely to lead, even if the military wasn't their objective ? Worrying...

I didn't know there was a difference. I thought it was just like dressing and stuffing. Those are not only big nuts, they're shiny too.

My husband is a huge nut lover! He eats them practically everyday. I get the big jars of mixed nuts from Costco but they don't last long!

I like nuts in salads-- Walnuts or pecans especially.
Nuts are a good holiday gift idea. Thanks for the tip.

We have a catalog from "The Peanut Shop", based in Williamsburg, Virginia. We bought some nuts for Christmas gifts last year. I like nuts but I'm slightly allergic to some types, I think. BTW, their website is www.thepeanutshop.com
