My FIL loved horseshoes.
That's interesting. Didn't even know horseshoe pits existed. Thanks! Great pictures. I can just visualize a warm lazy afternoon:-)
I love a great game of horseshoes but haven't played in years.
The horseshoe pits and batting cages look a lot like the ones at our sports park. It's been ages since I've thrown horseshoes.
nice...i likea good game of horseshoes every once in a while...seems to be waiting for a picnic eh?
I bet you would meet some nice folks in your town if you took up playing horsehoes. Our town has an Italian heritage so we have several open Bocci courts and town events always include Bocci tournaments.
I've never seen, much less ever played either one of these games, such fun I am missing out on!
Wow, I haven't played horseshoes since I was a kid!
So fun! I loved playing horseshoes at family reunions.
I saw a horseshoe pit this summer with horseshoes all ready to be pitched. I almost knocked out a window behind me by mistake! Those suckers are heavy!
I have not played horseshoes in maybe 30 years or more. Wonderful memories. Those pics made me recall good times.
well i prefer the horse shoe trowing over batting some balls! hahaThanks for sharing and i'll hop over!Leontien
I have never played horseshoes, love the idea of pubic facilities for it :-)
For some reason I like the idea of you pitching horseshoes.
I've never played a game of horseshoes, but I'm feeling like I need to try it!
Horse shoe tossing looks like a game I'd be excited about because it's so old school cowboy. But once I started to play, I'd grow bored, fast. I like the idea of horse shoes.
Horseshoes are great fun. Thanks for sharing the photos.
