Sundays In My City

It is fun to find some rust or weathered walls to photograph.

Friday I slipped on icy place in back yard and tweaked my back. Hope to be better in another day or two. My husband, James, has one more song ready. I added to my sidebar for all to hear. This is a nice, relaxing tune.

A Sunday today in my city will consist of many runners through the streets of NYC, I think I'll lay low today ...you've inspired me to seek out some of the neglected parts of NYC now, great pics as usual :)

Enjoyed the pics. They are cool. I like rust too. Perhaps you have inspired me some to look around for some.

Ack on the back. I hope you're on the mend soon. That last image looks like you shouldn't get too close to it!

I know about that back tweaking. I got relief from a chiropractor, but time will usually do the trick.

I love old buildings and architecture. They have such wonderful character.

You always seem to be able to make ordinary things look appealing in a photo. That is a gift.
I particularly like the fire escape & the view behind the steps.

I too like the view from behind the fire escape and those bits of scrollwork make an excellent subject matter. Rusted metal takes on a fascinating life of its own! So sorry to hear about your back. I'm sure a good rest and you'll be back in business in no time! I had stopped by last night but didn't have time to comment but did get to give James' song a listen. Which I found so soothing and conducive to dreaming and was looking forward to another listen this morning but don't see the link anymore :-(

Interesting. The wood peeling off the wood. I think photographing it is safer than going inside it.

I'll bet there are some interesting doors in your neck of the woods. Old ones with character. I'm always fascinated by pictures of old doors.

It's a pleasant Sunday here, nippy but sunny too.

Oh Techno, I'm sorry to hear your back is aching. I hope you've been able to rest and relax and are feeling much better.

I've been reading "wheat Belly" for the past few days. It's a lot of info to take in but I take my hat off to you both for committing to the program!

I'm off to listen to James' new song...
