Sundays In My City

Unknown Mami
This is my first time to participate in Unknown Mami's Sundays In My City.

This veterans memorial is a small park in the middle of our town. I am showing some of it here in these pictures. I will be practicing with my camera and finding interesting photo opportunities in our little hippie town.

Nice memorial. It seems quite large for such a small little town. I see you are enjoying your new camera! Cool...

Nice pics. I enjoy public art.
You know me at times I just can't help myself - The honor bench - that would be suggested bench for my daughters to sit on if they were on a date.

Hi Techno, Welcome to SIMC! It's one of my favorite days of the week.

Your town is so lovely. It's great how well taken care of this memorial is-- I think that speaks volumes for your community.

Have a happy Sunday, xo jj

We don't live in a town, just a village. It doesn't even have a shop, so your photos make your little hippie town seem very big to me!

Nice photos. :)

I love that even in the smallest of towns, American memorials are beautiful and immaculate.

Over here they always seem to be a bit half hearted, tatty and often vandalised! It is a sad reflection of our country...
