Sundays In My City

The Scout Cabin in our little city. The scouts are very active here. A future post will highlight some of the scout projects around the city, permanent improvements that are monuments to the hard work they did to make them. Planters with plaques showing they were gifted by the scouts and other projects. The scouts are constantly making additions to the comfort and aesthetic pleasure we have come to appreciate in our little city.

It sounds like the scouts get some appreciation for all they do to enhance the town.

I like those wooden cabins. We don't often see them over here.

I recall being a Boy Scout. We were supposed to be doing all these community projects, but I just remember the camp-outs. We met in a brick community hall in town. Would have been cool to have had our own cabin.

I'd do Sundays in my city but my city is boring.

How neat! The scouts do a lot of great things in my community, too.

The scouts were the clean-up crew at the church picnic today. They would be the best group to hire. Every time I turned I saw another picking up trash or wiping off a table.

You certainly do love to move around, don't you? :)

Do bring back more snippets from your little excursions... it's nice to have little virtual vacations from time to time... hehe

Cheers,

There is a Scout camp on the island. It is one of the bigger ones for the area. They host all kinds of things there. Glad that you enjoy your town.
