Happy St Patrick's Day

Happy St Patricks Day

"Why should you never iron a 4-leaf clover? You don't want to press your luck."
~~Daryl Stout

Irish Blessing

May you always walk in sunshine.
May you never want for more.
May Irish angels rest their wings right beside your door.

Enjoy your St Patrick's Day. I'm wearing green: Green shirt, green socks!

Everyone celebrates St Patrick, no one celebrates St George!

I blame this on Irish theme pubs around the world!

I am going to start a chain of English theme pubs! They will feature:

Compulsory pipe smoking.
Conversation must revolve around cricket and "damn foreigners".
Warm beer.
Rubbish food.

Sounds like a winner to me! :-)

Okay, I'll get out the green.

Thanks for your condolences and your comments. I really appreciate that you take the time, often to say hi. It means a lot. I'll have more time now to do that, too.

The sun is finally beginning to peek out here now. The temps, while warmer than last week, still have a tinge of a nip to 'em so once I get moving, get dressed for the day, I think wearing my green sweat pants and a shirt to go with that whilst I walk "Sir Muttley" here today will make for appropriate "Irish" honoring attire, don't you?
Have a great St. Paddy's Day!

Must go look in my suitcase for something green to wear to my son's ballgame later today.

Almost back home from a trip to Moab, be home tonight.
(was gone a week)
The trip was wondeful but it will be great to be home again, no place like home!

Loved the blessing, thank you for sharing it!

Margie :)

Fun joke and a sweet blessing...

For me, the day has sort of passed like any other.

I thought I was wearing a bit of the green meself, but they at work said it was darn.

From a rather irreverent Irish drinking song . . .

Someday soon I'll leave this world of pain and toil and sin.
The Lord will take me by the hand to join my lovely kin.
My only wish is when the Savior comes for me and you,
He takes the cast of Riverdance and Michael Flatley too.

Jason, as himself said...

Well, I spent the whole bloody day defending my olive green shirt. Many people said it was actually brown.

And it hurt my feelings!

Green-Eyed Momster said...

I wore a shirt with green on it.
Thanks for the blessing. I wish you the luck of the Irish!~

Hugs!!
