Groucho and Harpo are the only ones I'm really sure of. Was there a Zippo?

And now I've GOT to have coffee.

I love the last two lines of your morning sounds, it made me smile. I had never taken any notice of morning sounds before I stayed in a wonderful hotel in Chaing Mai... the morning sounds were breathtaking.

As for the Marx brothers... I'm afraid I'll have to wait for your answers ;0)

Great post.

Good morning to you!
So, so we know all your wake up morning sounds!
I realy enjoyed this post!
Pitter pat goes your heart listening to your hubby play his music, that is sweet!

Oh, the Marx brothers were Groucho, Harpo and Chico.

Have a fantastic day, my friend!

Groucho, Harpo, Chico... (very early for me).. fun posts.

Our morning sounds:
Opening of deck door (has bell on it)
Empty dishwasher
water from teakettle steaming
contented dogs nesting
refrigerator motor humming on
newspaper delivery vehicle pulling into driveway
Ginger taking a drink from the water bowl

Very interesting.....made me listen a little closer as I sit here at 6 a.m. The spoon clanging in the coffee came a little higher on the list for me, and fortunately no snow blowers needed today.

You know, people are going to google the trivia answer! I remember Harpo, Groucho, Zeppo, Chico, and I can't come up with the 5th!

The coffee pot on your morning sounds made me remember that I had not brewed mine yet!

I can't think of the last one, either. Loved your morning sounds, it did make me feel like I got up next to you. Thanks for the wonderful comment on my blog. You're the best.

Now I just want to go back to my warm bed and try and block out the sirens and the kitty scratching in the litter box.

Lou said...

How do you stand all that racket..LOL. My husband groans, moans, coughs, sighs, etc for 10 minutes before he even gets out of bed!

With a little tweaking, this would make a great flash 55.

Hmm...lets see, wake up to a silent house, hubby never wakes me up (he's such a sweetie)as he goes off to work, the dog snuggles up to me and I drift back to sleep...then up to turn the furnace up (its in the teens here) and off to face the day!

I love your post, and I can't think of the five names. Take care, glad you are well.

I'm thinking Shepp or Shep or something is the fifth. I won't look it up. It'll be more fun to find out tomorrow. That could be the other brothers though. Curly, Moe, Larry and Shep? I don't know.

Great post. You need to get that nose taken care of though. :(

Cheers,

SLC

The Marx brothers? As in Karl Marx the German philosopher that wrote The Communist Manifesto? I know he was one of seven siblings, but I don't know everyone's names.

LOL...great post. Noisy mornings at your house!!

Mine is a symphony of animal noises, mostly. Bird whistling for the dogs, cats growling at each other, dogs barking at cats.

I keep my door closed and snooze away!! lol

I would love to have heard the soundtrack. :)

I love the stomp, stomp, stomp. That's me getting out of bed...haha! Your husband's music is the best sound, though. That is so sweet.

I am so asleep when I first get up in the morning that I'd have to video tape myself to be able to remember what I do. This was great!!!

And the last two things-- perfect :-)
